Unfortunately we did not carry the day. This just tells me we are not finished. The battle for our country continues, and it will require each of us to continue in the fight. While there were many victories for the cause of liberty last night, there were obvious setbacks as well. For too many in the 13th district, their blind quest for security continues to erode our freedoms. We saw this around the nation as we watched them return big government bureaucrats to Washington despite the overwhelming evidence that their policies are destroying our country. Here in Georgia we can be thankful, though. Redistricting is next year and will be under the watch of the conservatives.  Pray that wisdom guides this process as we look forward to strengthening the role of conservative voices in our state and federal government. Remember, the preservation of liberty is not a part time job. Unfortunately, it requires more than many are willing to give. However, each of you proved yourselves most worthy in this battle; no sunshine patriots on our team!  So prepare to "winter in Valley Forge," knowing that the key to victory is perseverance, rooted in an unshakable faith in Him who truly has set us free.
